Nourishing Kamloops' Homeless
PRESS RELEASE - Back Alley Bites
Community Street Outreach Event
Kamloops, BC – Thursday, February 20, Lighthouse Projects, in partnership with Fryer’s Express Gourmet Grilled Sandwiches & More, is hosting a special Street Outreach Event called “BACK ALLEY BITES” to support Kamloops’ vulnerable population. The event will take place from 6 - 7 PM at OUT OF THE COLD - at Stuart Wood School Downtown Kamloops.
This heartwarming initiative aims to bring comfort, kindness, and essential items to those in need. Fryer’s Express will be generously donating food and drinks to ensure our street friends have a meal.
In addition to food and beverages, Lighthouse Projects is collecting clothing donations to distribute during the event. Items such as jackets, gloves, scarves, and warm socks are greatly appreciated and will go directly to those who need them most.
Also featured will be some LIVE MUSIC!
"This outreach event is about more than just providing food and clothing—it’s about showing our street friends that they are seen, cared for, and valued by their community," says Dan Lal, an operator of Lighthouse Projects.
