WAYS TO VOLUNTEER ...
FOOD - make food to distribute
$ - give monetarily
TIME - on Thursdays give out the food and talk with our "street friends"
PRAYER - pray for changed lives
We are so grateful for your help because we can't do this alone. Together with God's guidance and your help we CAN bring HOPE to our "street friends".
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
1 Thessalonians 5:14-22
And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
Guidelines & suggestions to support each other:
OUTSIDE of outreach time - pray for each other, our street friends and the ministry
DURING outreach time - pray together before stepping out, asking for the Lord's guidance, protection and softening of hearts
offer drinks, food and Bible
have a conversation... asking their story and listening
pray - ask if they want prayer or want to pray
tell your story briefly who you are and why are you doing this?
tell them about JESUS! Tell them about or show a Bible verse that speaks to you and brings you peace.
